Jordan enters studio June 25th and 26th; new single out this fall
(Nashville, TN – 06/22/2011) This weekend Ohio native Simba Jordan returns to Music City to enter the studio with producer Lonnie Wilson, who is known for his work with Joe Diffie, to record 3 songs that originally came to him in the early part of the 2000’s.
Simba Jordan states about why he feels that Lonnie is the perfect fit for the producer role on these songs, “Lonnie was an artist, is a top songwriter and session musician who will bring your A-game out of you as a performer.”
Jordan will record the songs titled “Country Thang,” “Goodbye Eyes” and “Hand Me Down Heart.”
Wilson along with Jimmy Yeary wrote both “Goodbye Eyes” and “Country Thang,” which was recorded by John Michael Montgomery. “Hand Me Down Heart,” which was recorded by Clay Walker was written by Wilson and his co-writer Zack Turner.
Producer Lonnie Wilson says of these songs and why they are a perfect fit for Simba Jordan’s style and voice, “Simba has been performing these songs live and feels like it shows the energetic side of him with the songs "Country Thang" and "Hand me Down Heart" plus the smooth vocal abilities he has with "Goodbye Eyes.”
Jordan will spend the rest of his summer on the road bringing his music, including these new songs, to live audiences at several fairs and festivals and will release a new single, which has not been selected yet, this fall to country radio.
